From bake sales to Comedy Nights, we are always brainstorming and planning community events to raise money to give right back to the community!

Adopt-a-Family & Feed-A-Family Campaign

Many families in need are supported top essay topics for college during the holiday season.  The makings for full Thanksgiving dinners are purchased and delivered to local families. Wish Lists of families in need are fulfilled by donations from local businesses and other organizations (groups, troops & individuals) at Christmas time. JWC also helps families in need throughout the year with fuel assistance, grocery gift certificates, and the like, depending on the family’s situation.

Girls Just Wanna Run 5k Race

A fundraising charity event hosted by the Junior Women’s Club of Litchfield Hills focuses on promoting health and wellness in girls and women.  Run along beautiful Bantam Lake!  A great way to spend an afternoon with your girlfriends, your mom, your sisters, your daughters. Gallery on the Green

This is our annual arts & crafts fair held on “The Green” in downtown Litchfield, Connecticut. The event consists of nearly 100 juried artisans and crafters. This is our largest fundraiser for the year and requires support from all of our members. It is held on the second Saturday in June (also Litchfield Hills Road Race weekend). Community Service / Conservation

Various events are conducted: such as holiday caroling, reverse trick-or-treating, and park cleanups. We are always looking to help our neighbors and fellow service organizations with other events.

Education

Past educational events include collecting Box-Tops for Education, Earth Day awareness, and setting up public education forums at our schools.
